Torrance, CA | Fully Onsite
$25-27/hour | Contract with Potential for Hire

A well-established manufacturing and consumer products company is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to join its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with credit and collections experience in a manufacturing environment who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Position Details

  • Location: Torrance, CA
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
  • Full onsite position
  • Contract role with potential for permanent hire
  • Pay Rate: $25-27/hour
  • Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of credit and collections experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience required
  • EDI experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of accounts
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts and collection activities
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Review customer credit information and support credit decisions
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure timely payment and issue resolution
